to stay with a job that entails (at the very least) an hour-long commute both ways, being busy with work for most of the day, intellectual stimulation, great young people, not too satisfactory monetary compensation
OR
to take a dead-end job for the convenience of a working locally, being done with work before noon, great mature people and the possibility of earning a lot more but the company may not last another 5 years
probably not much of a dilemma but the possibility of earning more money and being closer to home is pulling me to what is convenient.

bloggy birthday
today marks this blog's anniversary....woohoo!
as i browse the past twelve months, i see clara growing through the pictures.
i am reminded of the little things i would've likely forgotten if i had not written about it.
throughout the year, i have been more and more in touch of what goes on in my mind and i have an outlet to where i can put express these.
i have made friends online, have shared opinions and have enjoyed their feedback about my random thoughts. these feedbacks i love getting and i hope to get more.
though i have been a little lacking in updating lately, i plan to continue writing here and see where my mind takes me.
my little place on the web has just turned ONE! :)

enlighten me...
ON GUYS
...why is it that guys always manage to inject a comment of sexual connotation in a conversation? At first I thought it was because of the way I say things, sometimes I unintentionally give a double meaning to what I say. That I can understand why a conversation would go that direction. But with my new job, as I am mostly observing my new officemates, the guys still manage to insert a comment here and there. In a good natured way, of course. I find it interesting.
ON SHOES
...why is it you find THE perfect shoe...and they don't have your size. frik.
...why is it that what you thought was the perfect shoe is an evil shoe in disguise?
...why are the gorgeous shoes the most uncomfortable ones?
ON KIDS.. SPECIFICALLY TODDLERS
...why is it that kids manage to learn the bad words in a minute while learning good manners seemingly takes forever?
...why is it a toddler's energy level exceeds a parent's energy level by several notches?
